Danniel J. J. My brother dropped off his Dell 8400 for me to take a look at last night. If you want to do RAID (not really sure if this system can do RAID) you'll also need the SATA drivers, as you can't do RAID using IDE emulation.

It's the same trick we've been using for the HP laptops at work. Both drives are seen in the setup in the original AHCI mode but the new drive will no longer boot with the factory setting. ive tried the sata operation at both 1.5gbps and 3.0gbps. J. THANK YOU! Then I set the option to be in Combination Mode instead of default.
